Hand out the tract to people you meet, or leave a few where people already pause, a public restroom stall is one place they actually get read. Put a stack on your church’s welcome table. Be respectful of private property and rules.

The PDF is a tri-fold (two folds, six panels).

Fold like a letter brochure:

  1. Lay the printed sheet landscape, cover panel facing the table (text upside-down to you is normal until you flip it — use the big title FOUR THINGS YOU MUST KNOW as the front).
  2. Fold the sheet into three equal columns (~3.7 inches each). Crease lightly first, then press.
  3. The cover with 4Things.Help must be the front when it is closed.
  4. If point 1 is on the outside, you folded the wrong way — unfold and reverse the two folds.
  5. Finished size is about one-third of a letter page, pocketable.

Closed cover (what a stranger sees first):

  • Top: KEEP THIS. SOMEDAY YOU’LL WANT TO KNOW
  • Center: FOUR THINGS YOU MUST KNOW
  • Bottom: God wants you to know these four things… / 4Things.Help

Inside, first opening: points 1 and 2, with “Open for 3” at the bottom.
Fully open: point 3 and “3 continued.”
Back panel when closed: point 4 (the prayer) on one end; growth + three tenses + “Make Copies — Pass it on” on the other.

  1. Open the PDF on a computer (phone print dialogs often default to one side and portrait).
  2. Paper: plain Letter (8.5 × 11″). Do not scale to “fit” if that shrinks the panels.
  3. Orientation: Landscape.
  4. Print on both sides.
  5. Flip: Flip on short edge (or “short-edge binding”). If the back is upside down, print one test page, then switch to the other flip setting.
  6. Color is nice; black and white is fine.
  7. Print one test copy and fold it before you run a stack.

If your printer cannot duplex: print page 1, flip the sheet the short way, put it back in, print page 2. Do one sheet first.

Kinko’s / FedEx Office / UPS Store / a church copier. Ask for:

  • 8.5 × 11 letter
  • Double-sided
  • Landscape
  • Color or grayscale
  • Lightweight copy paper is enough; card stock is harder to fold

You can take the PDF on a phone or USB. No special finishing — you fold them yourself.
